Be a part of the
Action
Whether you’re a music fanatic or
simply want to have a good time in Gundagai the Turning Wave has it on
offer, catering for all tastes, and there’s an opportunity for everyone to
participate with community music ensembles, blackboard concerts and, watch
out for the street music, sessions and busking competition.
The Turning
Wave is a Festival where you can make music, participate in sessions or
learn new skills. There's
plenty of opportunity to get involved or find a stage to share your
music.
Dance, Dance, Dance
The festival offers a full Program of Dance events including
Workshops, Ceilis, Historic Bridges Costume Ball (an opportunity for you to
dress up),
Dance Exhibitions, and this year we have introduced a family bush dance as
part of our Kidzone entertainment. In a first we are also offering
Master Classes in set dancing as part of the pre-festival program and
workshops in
sean-nós
dancing.
Children and Youth
Saturday is youth day at The
Turning Wave with our Kidzone program swinging into action from 10am with
