Experience:

Concert Performances, Theatre, Poetry & Storytelling.

Concerts and festival events take place in a number of venues throughout the town and the festival is already renowned for providing festival-goers the opportunity to enjoy performances in quiet, friendly and intimate settings.

Be a part of the Action:

Whether you’re a music fanatic or simply want to have a good time in Gundagai the Turning Wave has much to offer, catering for all tastes. The Turning Wave is a Festival where you can make music, participate in sessions or learn new skills. There's plenty of opportunity to get involved or find a stage to share your music.

Children and Youth:

Our Kidzone activities swing into action from 10am Saturday with entertainment for the whole family. Mike Jackson is back again in 2010 with new shows and tricks to share, there's entertainment with Bruce Watson and Geoffrey W Graham and park & street stuff on Sunday.

Mad to Dance:

The festival offers a full programme of dance events including Workshops, Ceilis, Spirit of the Bush Costume Ball and dance displays. Dance is also offered as part of the pre-weekend classes

Spring School of Irish Music

Master Class Series and Pre-Festival Workshops

Wednesday 15th - Friday 17th Sept.

Classes are small and structured for participants to gain the most benefit from what is a uniquely rewarding experience. Registration from May 31 T: 9489 2780

Thursday is Seniors' day at the Turning Wave Festival

Concert and morning tea featuring festival performers, poetry events and a feature presentation in the afternoon.

The Turning Wave is  taken from a poem by Colleen Z Burke and an anthology of the same name compiled and edited by Colleen and Vincent Woods, and is used with the kind permission of the authors.
