Situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, the historic town of Gundagai is in NSW, just off the Hume Highway 375 km south west of Sydney, 495 km north east of Melbourne and 164km from Canberra and easily accessible from regional centers. Gundagai is also serviced by several coach companies that run daily services from Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albury, Wagga Wagga and Cootamundra.

The Turning Wave is  taken from a poem by Colleen Z Burke and an anthology of the same name compiled and edited by Colleen and Vincent Woods, and is used with the kind permission of the authors.
